Fr. Michael CONATY

, Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle, England, and late of Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan. Died in the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle on Thursday October 5, 2017. Predeceased by his brothers Fr Sean and Gerard. Deeply regretted by his sisters Kathleen McGovern (Athy, Co. Kildare) and Moya Gordon (Roscommon) and his brother Andrew Conaty & sister in law Kathleen (Ballyhaise, Co Cavan) nieces,nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, friends and fellow priests. Reception mass in St Anthony of Padua church, Church Street,Walker, Newcastle on Thursday October 12th at 7 p.m. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12.05 in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Clayton Street, Newcastle. Interment to follow at Heaton Cemetery immediately after.
