John Thomas Bartley

(Castle Park, Ballybane, Galway and formerly McHale Road, Castlebar, Co. Mayo) Jan. 29, 2014, John Thomas (Ex CQMS 1st Infantry Battalion, UN Service in Congo, Cyprus and The Lebanon, Member of I.U.N V.A) (peacefully), at home surrounded by his family; sadly missed by his loving wife, Alice-Claire, sons Jerry, Jimmy and Richard, daughters Virginia, Michelle, Dawn, Pamella and Natalie and his adoring grandchildren; deeply regretted by his brother Gussie and sister Susan (Castlebar), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and his two best friends Johnny Gavin and Pat Flaherty, extended family relatives and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at his home at No. 316 Castlepark today (Thursday) from 4 o'c. until 7 o'c. Removal tomorrow (Friday) to St. Brigid's Church, Ballybane, to arrive for Mass at 11 o'c. Funeral afterwards to The New Cemetery, Bohermore. Family flowers only by request. Donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice Foundation.
