The death has occurred of:
Una Whelan

(Northumberland Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin and formerly of Mountbrook,
Ballylinan, Co. Laois) (Ex. I.D.A. Ballsbridge) - May 14, 2016 (peacefully), in the tender care of Droimnin Nursing Home, Stradbally, beloved sister of Eilish and the late Ned and Michael; deeply regretted by her sister Eilish, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, cousins, extended family and life long friend Ruth Shanahan. Reposing at her cousin Mary Lynch’s residence, Ballintubbert, Athy with removal today (Monday) at 6.15 o’c. to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Barrowhouse at 7 o’c. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11 o’c. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. No flowers please at her request. Donations, if desired, to Barrowhouse Church Development Fund.
