John Francis (Seán) Ward

(Prospect, Athenry, Co. Galway and formerly of The Agricultural College, Athenry, also Ballsbridge, Dublin and Dunleer, Co. Louth) - Oct. 19, 2017 (peacefully), in the loving care of the staff at Castleturvin Nursing Home, Athenry, surrounded by his devoted wife and family, dearly beloved husband of Margaret (Peggy) and the late Moira, predeceased by his children Mary and Tom, loving father to Joseph, Shane, Anne, Niamh, Chanel and Brendan, father-in-law to Bernard, Danny, Alice, Andrea and Anita; sadly missed by his 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; he will be lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and circle of friends. Reposing at Gardner's Funeral Home, Athenry this (Saturday) evening from 6 o'c. until 8 o'c. Removal tomorrow (Sunday) from his home for 1 o'c. Requiem Mass at the Church of the Assumption, Athenry. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Athenry. Family flowers only please. House private both days. "Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis."
