WHELAN (née Hough), Mary (Abbeylands, Castledermot, Co. Kildare and formerly of Redwood, Co. Tipperary) - Passed March 8, 2023, (peacefully), at Naas Hospital. Predeceased by her husband James (Jim), brother-in-law Michael Dooley, son-in-law Dave Jordan, daughter-in-law Giselle. Sadly missed by her daughters and sons, Joe, Lily (Liz), Marie, Dan Seamus (Shum), Martina, Bill, Gerard, Helen and Denise, brother Pat Hough, sister Christine Dooley, son-in-law, daughters-in-law and partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends. Rest in peace. Reposing in Dunne's Funeral Home, Mill Road, Castledermot on Saturday from 12 noon with removal at 7.15pm to The Church of the Assumption, Castledermot for prayers at 8o'c. Requiem mass on Sunday at 11 o'c. Followed by Burial in Coltstown Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Patient Comfort Fund/Palliative Care Naas Hospital.
