MATHEWS, (née Smith) Pauline (Manor Estate, Dublin 12) - January 7, 2021 (peacefully), in her 87th year, surrounded by her loving family in the kind care of the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross; darling wife of Joe and much loved mam of Elizabeth, Ann, Breda, Pauline and Niamh and loving sister of Brendan, Ann, Una, Kathleen and the late Desmond; sadly missed by her loving husband, daughters, grandchildren Johanna, Genevieve, Stephanie, Tony, Darragh, Aoife, Emmet, Aoibhín, Ciara, Tom, Niamh, Rachel, Matthew and Stella, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law Brian, Charlie, Mark and Aidan, sister-in-laws Sr. Teresa and Betty, nieces, nephews, extended family, kind neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace. In line with Government and H.S.E advice regarding public gatherings, a small private funeral will be held. Pauline’s family would ask that over the coming days, everyone who knew her would take some time to light a candle or say a prayer in her memory.
