James (Jimmy) Meehan

James (Jimmy) (Ballinaraha House, Kilsheelan, Clonmel, Co Tipperary and formerly of Tullamore and Bandon, Ex Irish Casings Company, Master Meats and AIBP Bandon) - March 29, 2020 (peacefully), at his residence, brother of the late Eileen and Johnny, beloved and devoted husband to Ella and adored father of Emma (McCarthy), Avril and James, daughter-in-law Niamh, son-in-law Niall, cherished grandad “Jim Jim” to Ross, Robyn, Dylan and Teagan, brother to Very Rev. Billy Canon Meehan and loving uncle to Barry and Eileen; deeply regretted by his brothers-in-law John, Eamon and Richard Walsh, sisters-in-law Joan Walsh (his special friend), Muriel O’Malley, Carmel Hannafin and Irene Gleeson, extended family, his many friends and his colleagues in the Irish Meat Industry. Private Funeral Mass will take place in St. Mary’s Church, Irishtown tomorrow (Wednesday) at 12 o’c. which can be viewed on https://stmarysparishclonmel.ie/online-services, followed by burial in Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to South Tipperary Hospice Movement or Irish Cancer Society. Memorial Mass will take place for James at a later date.
