The death has occurred of:

Bridie (Bridget) Kitt

KITT (née Lohan), Bridie (Bridget) (Lehenagh, Castleblakeney, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway and formerly Lissavruggy, Newbridge, Co. Galway) - February 2, 2022 (peacefully), at home in the care of her loving family in her 102nd year, predeceased by her beloved husband Michael F. Kitt, her brothers John, Michael, Pat, Tommy, Mark and Brendan, her sisters Mary Divilly and Margaret Mary Money, her grandchild Baby Aoife (Kitt) and her son-in-law Ollie Daly; Bridie will be sadly missed by her family, Michéal (Castleblakeney), Maura (Dublin), Tom (Dublin), Áine (Clane, Co. Kildare), Liam (Ennis), Eamonn (Tuam), Proinsias (Salthill) and Bríd (Ballybrit), her brother Martin (Sonny) Lohan, sisters Lena Rhatigan, Kathleen Cunningham and Ann McElwaine; she was greatly admired and loved by her 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, her daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, along with her carers, her nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends R.I.P. May her gentle soul rest in peace. Reposing at the Franciscan College Oratory, Mountbellew, from 4 o'c. to 8 o'c. today (Saturday, February 5). Funeral cortège will leave Bridie’s residence (family home) at 1.30 o'c. tomorrow (Sunday, February 6) for Requiem Mass at 2 o'c. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Caltra, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
