DESMOND, Brigid (Biddy) (Greystones, Co. Wicklow, formerly Ballymacarbry, Co. Waterford) - July 20, 2023 (peacefully), at home in the presence of her nephew Michael, predeceased by her brothers and sisters John, Chrissy, Mary, Dan and Mickey; she will be sadly missed by her beloved sister Philomena, sister-in-law Ann Marie Desmond, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, many friends and neighbours. Brigid's remains will be received for prayers in The Holy Rosary Church, Greystones at 1 o'c. today (Friday). Funeral Mass will take place in Our Lady and St. Laurence’s Church, Fourmilewater, Co. Waterford at 12 noon tomorrow (Saturday) followed by burial in the adjacent cemetery. Brigid's family would like to thank the medical staff at St. Vincent's and St. Colmcille's Hospitals, the Community Palliative Care team at Wicklow Hospice, The Irish Cancer Society and the many Carers who have helped Biddy throughout the years.
