DONOGHUE, Denis (Past Provincial Grand Knight of St. Columbanus) (Carricknock, Ballydaly, Tullamore, Co. Offaly and late of Old Knockmay, Co. Laois. - Oct 4, 2023 (peacefully), at home in his 79th year after a long illness borne with dignity and acceptance, surrounded by his loving family. Denis will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sheila and daughters Marguerite (Cahill), Denise (Keoghan) and Aoife (Shihab), sons-in-law Jonathan, Michael and Oliver, his adored grandchildren Micheál, Stephen, Emily, Donncha, Alister, Oisín and Bradán, brother Dan (Athy), (deceased brothers John and Michael), sisters Patty (Clondalkin) and Claire (Arklow), sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of relatives, neighbours and friends. RIP. Reposing at his home (today), Friday from 3 o'c until Rosary at 8 o'c. Removal (tomorrow), Saturday morning at 11 o'c to the Church of The Assumption, Tullamore arriving for Requiem Mass at 11:30am. Burial afterwards in St. Colmcille's Cemetery, Durrow.
