Galway) - September 16, 2021 (peacefully), at home, surrounded by his loving family, predeceased by his parents Paddy and Noreen, and brother Stephen; Des will be sadly missed by his beloved and heartbroken wife Moira, son Desmond, daughters Darrelle and Noreen, son-in-law Cian, partners Shane and Claire, adoring grandchildren Aoibhinn, Iarla and Tadhg, brother P.J, sisters Patricia Donohue, Josephine Callanan, Madeline Curley, Grace McCormack, and Martina Maher, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends. Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry tomorrow (Sunday, September 19), from 5 o’c. to 7 o’c. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12.30 o’c. in the Church of The Assumption, Athenry.
