Monaghan) - February 12, 2022 (peacefully), in the tender care of the staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his devoted wife and family, predeceased by his parents John and Tessie and his first wife Pauline; Des will be sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, daughter Joanne, sons Barry, Diarmuid, Daniel, Michael and their partners, sister Myra (Dublin), brother Finbar (Dublin), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, former work colleagues, neighbours and his wide circle of friends. “May his gentle soul rest in peace.” Reposing at his residence, Cleen, Knockvicar, this (Tuesday) evening (February 15) from 3 o'c. until 8 o'c. (walk through please). Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Crossna, tomorrow (Wednesday) morning (February 16) arriving for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Kileenan Cemetery.
