O'DONOHOE, (née Griffith) (Abbeyknockmoy, Tuam, Co. Galway) - February 22, 2021 (peacefully), in the wonderful care of the staff of the Corrib Ward in UHG Galway, Eithne, beloved wife of Sean, adored by her children Joyce (Minogue, Lucan), Karen (King), Patrick, Ruth (Bink) and James, their spouses Henry, Martin, Eimear, Stefan and Ciara, much loved Granny to Natasha, Andrea, Ailbhe, Síofra, Seán, Clodagh, Evan, Farah, Carrie and Isla. Predeceased by her parents Jimmy and Maisie and her sister Mary; she will be sadly missed by her brother Pat (Claregalway) and her twin sister Eugenie (O'Farrell, Craughwell). Eithne's generous loving nature and larger than life spirit will be greatly missed by her adoring family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and all who knew and loved her. May Eithne's gentle Soul Rest in Peace. Funeral Mass will take place tomorrow (Wednesday, February 24) at 12 noon in St. Bernard's Church, Abbeyknockmoy and will be streamed live on the Abbeyknockmoy Parish Facebook page. Burial afterwards in Abbeyknockmoy Cemetery. Family Flowers only by request. Donations if desired to Western Alzheimers and Cancer Care West. Due to the current HSE and government guidelines regarding public gatherings, house visits and Funeral Mass will be restricted to immediate family only to protect the most vulnerable in our community.
