LOWTHER, Gertie (Barrett Street and late of Rathglass West, Knockanillaun, Ballina, Co. Mayo) - January 8, 2022 (peacefully), in the loving care of the staff of the Riverview Nursing Home, Ballina surrounded by her loving family, in her 93rd year, predeceased by her parents and siblings; deeply regretted and dearly missed by her loving sisters Imelda, Eileen, Sr. Eithne and Frances, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law. Gertie, beloved aunt of Catriona and Sinéad, adored grandaunt of Gary, Oisín, Alex, Rowan, Éabha, Jude and Harry, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina tomorrow (Thursday) morning from 10 o’c. with removal at 11 o’c. to St. Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30 o’c. with funeral proceeding to Lisheen Cemetery.
