FAGAN, Gilbert (Blanchardstown, Dublin and late of Coolmine Community School) - June 30, 2021 (peacefully), at home, adored husband of nearly 59 years to his darling wife Katherine, devoted and wonderful Dad to his children David, Deirdre, Kate and Nuala, extraordinary and special Grandad to his beloved grandchildren Aisling, Orlagh, Ciarán, Sophie, Mark, Meg, Ella, Abby and Alex, who all made him so proud, loving friend to his daughter-in-law Sinéad and sons-in-law Colin, Mark and the late John and dear brother of Paddy, Fran, Chris and the late Carmel, Maureen and Joe; Gilbert will be sadly missed but very fondly remembered, by his family, in-laws and huge circle of close friends and neighbours, as the wonderful and special person he was, for his quiet kindness and support to all during his 88 years and for being a true gentleman. Rest in peace. A private Funeral will take place due to government advice regarding public gatherings. Family flowers only, please.
