BYRNE, Hugh (Hughie) (late of Bangor Road, Crumlin and formerly of Dolphin House), - January 28, 2021 (peacefully), surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of St. James’s Hospital; beloved husband of May and loving dad of Peter, Hughie, David, Teresa, Elizabeth, Annmarie and the late Deborah and Michael-John; sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, his 20 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, sisters Lucy, Kathleen and Teresa, brother Liam, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends. May Hughie rest in peace. In line with Government and H.S.E advice regarding public gatherings, a small private funeral will be held. His family would ask that over the coming days, everyone who knew Hughie would take some time to light a candle or say a prayer in his memory.
