ROONEY, Jimmy (Brookfield, Mullingar, late of Eircom and formerly of Davidstown, Rathconrath, Co. Westmeath) - December 1, 2021 (peacefully), following a short illness in the company of his devoted wife and family at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar, loving husband and best friend of Marie and step-father to Brendan, Cathriona and the late Alan; Jimmy will be very sadly missed by his wife and family, sister Mary, brother Paddy, aunt Bernie, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, former colleagues in Eircom and many friends. Remembering also his late parents Rosie and Nicholas, brother Sean, aunts Bridie and Molly and uncles Pat and Tom. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Friday) at 1 o'c. in the Cathedral of Christ the King, followed by burial in Milltown Rathconrath Cemetery.
