Predeceased by his brothers Joe and Eddie; deeply regretted and much loved by his wife Christine, daughter Liz, sons Mark and Con, grandchildren Aoife and Jack, his sisters Maura Kirby (Tipperary Town) and Catherine Walsh (Dublin) and his brother Bishop Willie; beloved and sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and wide circle of colleagues and friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis. Removal today (Wednesday) at 1.15 o'c. from Treacy's Funeral Home, Shinrone via Roscrea Road and Abbey Street to St. Cronan's Church Abbey Street Roscrea. In accordance with government guidelines a private funeral will take place for Johns family only. The Funeral Mass at 2 o'c. will be live-streamed on www.stcronanscluster.ie with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
