NEWMAN John (Lisnacreeva, Colehill, Co Longford & Maspeth, New York) - August 10, 2021 (peacefully), in his 99th year, in the wonderful care of the staff at Hazelwood, Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford. Predeceased by his wife Bridget (nee Duggan) Kilgarvan, Co Kerry; fondly remembered by Anne, Edel and Martin, sisters-in-law, nieces-in-law, nephews-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. John’s remains will arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carrickedmond, tomorrow (Thursday, August 12, 2021) for Funeral Mass at 11 o’c., followed by burial at Abbeyshrule Cemetery. Due to current government and HSE guidelines, John's funeral mass will be limited to 50 family and friends. The funeral mass may be viewed on Carrickedmond and Abbeyshrule facebook page from 11 o'c. on Thursday. Messages of condolence may be left on RIP.ie. No flowers by request please.
