WHELAN, Michael (Toonagh, Fountain, Ennis, Clare) - September 26, 2021 (peacefully), after a short illness in Limerick Regional Hospital, reunited after 3 months with his beloved wife May (Vaughan), predeceased by his parents Bill and Nance, sister Maureen and brothers Gus and Billy; dearly loved father of Anne, Máire, Ger and Gus; Michael will be sadly missed by his 11 Cooney, Neylon and Whelan grandchildren; deeply regretted by his loving brother Des, nieces, nephews, in-laws, kind neighbours and friends and the farming community. Reposing at Máire and Pat Neylon's residence in Toonagh today (Tuesday) from 5 o'c. to 8 o'c. for family and friends. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11 o'c. in St. Tola's Church, Dysart O'Dea with burial afterwards in Drumcliffe Cemetery, Ennis.
