BYRNE, Pat (Valleycourt, Athlone, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Gurtray, Portumna, Co. Galway) - January 17, 2024 (peacefully) at home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Gerard and Margaret Byrne. Sadly missed by his loving wife Liz, daughters Sharon and Lisa (Hanlon), sons Paul, Sean and Ruairi, his brothers and sisters and the Fagan family, son-in-law Liam, daughters-in-law Imogen, Ally and Chris, his adored grandchildren Kalem, Roan, Kyle, Emily, Oliver, Rhea, Lucy, Ollie, Fiadh, Caolán and Sophia, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, former colleagues and many friends. May He Rest In Peace. Reposed at Flynn’s Funeral Home, The Strand on Friday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass today Saturday in St. Anthony’s Franciscan Church at 11am followed by burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery. House private please.
