NEWELL, Peter (Barranny, Annaghdown, Co. Galway) - December 14, 2023, in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents John and Brigid (Scahill) and his sister Freda Keary (Mountbellew); deeply missed by his loving wife Aileen (Hughes), his children Barry, Helen and Maggie, daughter-in-law Caroline (Aherne), sons-in-law Owen Loughnane and Anthony Leifi, adored grandchildren Tom, Mia, Harry, Ella, Nio and Aniva, his brother Martin (Barranny) and sisters Mary Casey (Lanesboro) and Anne Buckley (Barranny); mourned also by his nieces, nephews, godchildren, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended members of the Newell family, neighbours, friends, the wider Annaghdown Community and all the staff and customers of Newell Roofing Products, whom he cherished dearly. Reposing at Corrandulla Mortuary Chapel (H91 HN83) today (Saturday) from 2 o'c. Removal at 5 o'c. to his home. Removal from his home tomorrow (Sunday) at 12.30 o'c. for Mass at 1 o'c. in St. Brendan's Church, Annaghdown (H91 YE39) with Burial afterwards in Annaghdown Cemetery.
