Predeceased by his parents James and Ellen (née Sloan), and his brothers Eugene, Anthony and Frank; deeply regretted by his sisters Collette Rafferty, Rosemary Riddler and Eileen Cywinski, brothers John, Noel, Gerard, Martin, Gabriel and Thomas, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives, friends, the people of Ndola Diocese (Zambia), Sunyani Diocese (Ghana), Menevia Diocese (Wales) and his confreres in the Society of African Missions.
