MURPHY (née Heavey, Dunany) Sheila (Grangebellew, Drogheda, Co. Louth) - October 24, 2021 (peacefully), at the home of her daughter Marian and son-in-law Robert McGovern, “The Moate”, Brownstown, Monasterboice, surrounded by her family, aged 97 years, beloved wife of the late Ben. Predeceased by her parents Bridget and George, brothers Willie, Paddy, George, Jimmy, Michael and John, her twin Tessie, sisters Maisie, Nancy, Kathleen, Joan, Ita and Margaret; sadly missed by her daughter, son-in-law, grand children Robert, Louise and Ian, great-grandchildren Adam, Sophia, Aoibhinn, Cathal, Annabelle and Darragh, granddaughters-in-law Linda and Diane, grandson-in-law Fergus, sisters-in-law May and Doreen, brother-in-law John, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer from 2 o'c. today (Tuesday) followed by removal at 6.30 o'c. to Saint Borchill’s Church, Dysart, arriving for evening prayers at 7 o'c. Funeral Mass at 11 o'c. tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. Burial afterwards in Port Cemetery. Please note that Government guidelines on social distancing and the wearing of face masks should be observed. There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and remember Sheila, by being present, socially distanced, on the route to the church, via her home, and to the cemetery, via Keenan’s Cross.
