FITZGERALD, Sr. M. Alexis (Presentation Sisters, Castle St., Tralee and formerly of Lyreacrompane , Listowel, Co. Kerry) - May 27, 2021 (peacefully), in the loving care of Our Lady of Fatima Nursing Home, Tralee, dear daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Shanahan) and sister of Sr. Hilary (Holy Family Convent, Cheshire, UK) and the late Hanna (Canada), Sr. Eileen (Presentation Sisters, Pakistan), Nora (Stack), Margaret (Walsh), Rosaleen (Sheehy), Jet and Michael; sadly missed by her Presentation Community and her loving family, her nieces and nephews, her grandnieces and grandnephews, sister-in-law Nell (Listowel), relatives and friends. May she rest in peace. A private family funeral will take place for Sr. Alexis with the Requiem Mass being celebrated at 12 noon on Monday in St. John’s Church, Tralee, (streamed on www.stjohns.ie) followed by interment in Presentation Convent Cemetery, Tralee.
