O'BRIEN, Very Rev. Fr. Eamonn (Retired Parish Priest of Rochfortbridge, Co. Westmeath and formerly Ballykilmurray, Tullamore, Co. Offaly) - August 28, 2023 (in his 98th year) (peacefully), in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Newbrook Lodge Nursing Home, Mullingar. Predeceased by parents Patrick and Kathleen, brothers Dan, Fr. Michael, Paddy and Rory, sisters Sr. Peter, Rose, Kathleen and Sr. Dympna. Deeply regretted by his sister Sr. Clare (Holy Faith Convent, Glasnevin), brothers Joe (Ballykilmuray) and Peter (Cork), sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, his friends at Newbrook Lodge, Bishop Deenihan, retired Bishop Smith, priests of the Diocese of Meath and a wide circle of friends. Fr. Eamonn will repose in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rochfortbridge today (Tuesday) from 5.30 o’c. until prayers at 8 o’c.
