FLYNN, Very Rev Fr. Frank (formerly of Cloonchambers, Castlerea, Co Roscommon) - January 16, 2022 (peacefully), in in the great care of the Nazareth Sisters in East Finchley, North London. Ordained into Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI) in 1961; held Parish Priest roles in Tower Hill, Diocese of Westminster, London, and Chesterfield, Diocese of Hallam South Yorkshire. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Bridget (Bea) Flynn, sisters Maureen (Duddy) and Josephine Flynn, brothers Michael and Tom Flynn; Fr. Frank will be sadly missed and very fondly remembered by his brother Paddy (Ballaghderreen) and sister-in-law Kay; nieces, Antoinette, Louis, Hilary, Dympna, Helen, Pauline; nephews, Damien, Paul, Tommy, Francis (Flynn), Francis (Duddy), John, David and Peter, relatives, colleagues among the clergy, former parishioners, neighbours and friends from the varied ministries in which he served as Parish Priest and Chaplain. Requiem Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Quex Road, Kilburn, London on Friday February 11, at 12.00pm. Burial Mass at Mary Immaculate Church, Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore, Dublin on Wednesday February 16, at 12 noon followed by burial at the Oblate Community Cemetery.
